I’m a Toronto-based writer, editor, book reviewer, and anthologist, who’s been working as a professional freelance editor for the last 18 years. I’m actively involved in the Canadian publishing industry in a number of respects, though my prior freelancing background is in corporate and technical writing.

(No, that’s not me in the header photo.)

I’ve worked with publishers like ChiZine Publications, Exile Editions, Explicit Books, Farafina Books, Green Ronin, Harlequin, and Ravenstone Press in a number of different editorial capacities, and with a host of private clients for editorial, copywriting, and ghostwriting work.

I’m also a graduate of the Clarion West (’14) Six-Week Summer Workshop, which I attended on scholarship, and was awarded five grants in three years for book-length fiction projects by the Ontario Arts Council–one Toronto Arts Council Level one Writers Grant, one OAC Writers’ Works in Progress grant, and three OAC Writers’ Reserve grants.

You can find more about me on the About and Bibliography pages of my author website.
