Copywriting is an act of careful craft. It’s the right words, perfectly calibrated, to get across your message. Whether that message is a call to action, advertising a product, or selling an idea.

In literal terms, copywriting is the writing of content for web pages or other online content, print content, press releases, advertising copy, White Papers, scripts for campaign or other videos, and related projects. All of which fall under the two types of copyediting: B2B, or business to business, and B2C, or business to customer.

My own background is a mix of B2B and B2C work. I’ve done work with Advanced Computing Edge Ltd. doing B2B, Intelligence Media Group doing B2B & B2C, and a number of other small companies with whom I signed NDAs and so don’t talk about directly, though those jobs consisted largely of B2C content.

I provide copywriting services on either an ongoing basis or on a per project basis. I charge a flat rate, based on an individual estimate per job. Though my quotes tend to fall along the line of approximately .50/word.

The specific rates for my editorial services are covered on the Rates page.

I prefer to aim for a two week turnaround or less on copywriting jobs, though I will work on projects that require a longer turnaround on a case by case basis. I provide a contract for the project undertaken, and require half payment up front, and half payment on completion of the project. I provide invoices to my clients each step of the way.
